I’m Overwhelmed by Fall Arrivals, But I’m Calling These 35 Items Decisive Buys
They each deserve a place in my collection.

Most Coveted is a new shopping series sharing our editors’ curation of the must-know items they can’t stop thinking about.
A bit of personal news: I’m struggling with my Libra tendencies and a plethora of fall arrivals hitting every virtual shelf of my favorite retailers. Everywhere I turn, there’s a new “must-have” version of what I’m looking to shop, and quite frankly, it’s overwhelming. I am learning to be a more decisive shopper, so as a test, I took my dozens of browser tabs and narrowed them down to just 30 strategic buys. One good pair of jeans, one on-trend pair of moto boots, and one (okay, maybe more than one) really good sweater were among the pieces left standing. Of course, there were a few beauty goodies too. If you’re also in the market for a cashmere sweater but don’t have the time to sift through the dozens of options at your disposal, keep scrolling to shop my current wish list.
Fashion Finds
There’s a reason these barrel jeans have taken our office by storm. They are comfortable and on-trend and make any outfit look that much cooler.
I purchased this tote for myself as a little birthday treat, and I can’t believe how much I’ve already used it. It fits everything I need (including my laptop) and is the perfect accent print for my everyday outfits.
Before we enter puffer-jacket territory, I recommend shopping this quilted style while the weather permits.
If you’re in the market for new sunglasses for fall, consider this timeless shape.
Instead of reaching for a casual shacket, try opting for this sherpa coat as a more elevated outerwear option.
This sweater dress might as well be labeled as a blanket with how soft it really is.
Personally, I’m going for pinstripe trousers over cargo pants this season.
Pale pink is an unexpected fall color choice, but that’s why I love it.
I know we’re talking about fall fashion, but this top is bound to sell out before NYE. I think you better jump on this.
This top strikes the perfect balance between casual and dressy. You can wear it with jeans, a skirt, or trousers.
This cozy crew-neck + jeans + clogs = a comfortable weekend look that still looks cool and put-together.
Beauty Picks
Fall weather unfortunately means drier conditions. I like to reach for a liquid blush over a powder to maintain a glowy look.
My friend recently asked me for a new concealer recommendation, and I couldn’t get her to buy this one fast enough. It has the perfect medium-to-full coverage and doesn’t crease throughout the day.
While you’re picking up the concealer, grab this new set too. This is the tinted lip balm of my dreams.
This sculpting product from Tower 28 has a beautiful formula and terrific price point.
Two lip products in one for under $5 is all you really need to know about this product.
Peptides are the new buzzy skincare ingredient, but for good reason. They work to reduce texture and improve fine lines. Which, after a week of testing, I can confirm this serum works.
A friend described this mask as a cold plunge for your face, so naturally, I need to give this a go.
I love that you can switch off which wand style you want to use depending on your level of makeup application that day.
Do not—I repeat, do not—miss an opportunity to save on the world’s most beautiful fragrance. It’s earthy and woody, but in a super delicate and fresh way.
What I spend on clothing, I save on makeup tools. You can’t find six brushes for under $10 anywhere.
I never miss a chance to save on these hydrating eye masks.
QVC always has great discounts and sales around the holidays, so keep an eye out on Dyson products like this one.
Dry winter skin doesn't stand a chance when you mix this into your moisturizer or complexion product.
