Have You Had an Alcohol-Infused Snow Cone Yet? [RECIPES]
The taste of summer just got better.
A throwback to your favorite summer childhood staple, these snow cones are a boozy ice-cold treat everyone will remember from your next summer house party or BBQ courtesy of Louis Kerans, lead cocktail craftsman, at Hotel Zaza.
How to Make Crushed Ice
Put a full tray of ice (or 10 ice cubes) into a blender and select the "crushed ice" option. If you don't have that particular speed, you'll need to add a quarter cup of water to help before selecting "blend." Note: the recipe for crushed ice is the same for all four recipes.
VANILLA COLA
What You'll Need:
• Vanilla simple syrup
• Cherry puree
• Cola vodka
• Kruto Red vodka
• Rhubarb bitters
Directions:
Before taking the crushed ice out of the blender, add your simple syrup, cherry puree, rhubarb bitters, and both vodkas to the crushed ice and blend for 2-3 seconds. Then serve in a snow cone wrapper or soda glass with a straw.
STRAWBERRY PATCH
What You'll Need:
• Lemon simple syrup
• Strawberry puree
• Kruto Red
• Basil sprig
Directions:
Before taking the crushed ice out of the blender, add your simple syrup, strawberry puree, and vodka to the crushed ice and blend for 2-3 seconds. Serve in a snow cone wrapper and garnish with a sprig of basil
BANANAS FOSTER
What You'll Need:
• Vanilla simple syrup
• Peach puree
• Famous Grouse whiskey
• Banana liquor
• Dash of cinnamon

Before taking the crushed ice out of the blender, add your simple syrup, peach puree, whiskey, banana liqueur, and dash of cinnamon to the crushed ice and blend for 2-3 seconds. Serve in a snow cone wrapper and garnish with a slice of banana and a spoon.
VERY BERRY
What You'll Need:
• Blueberry mint simple syrup
• Peach puree
• Sauza tequila
• Lemon juice
Directions:
Before taking the crushed ice out of the blender, add your simple syrup, peach puree, and tequila to the crushed ice and blend for 2-3 seconds. Serve in a snow cone wrapper and garnish with a few ripe blueberries.
