4 No-Brainer Outfit Formulas That Never Go Out of Style
Prepare to wear these looks on repeat.

Friends! We made it through New York Fashion Week. And by the time you read this, I will have been lounging on a beach in Jamaica for two days before hitting the second half of fashion month in Milan and Paris. If you’re not already, be sure to follow along for highlights from the front row.
Anatomy of an Outfit
SATURDAY...
The weekend brought two highlights: Altuzarra and Khaite. I absolutely loved the leathers and faux furs from each. They felt true to their woman while giving her something new that works with the rest of her closet. It was a long day with a chunk of time in between so the ’fit had to last. (There’s nothing worse than an outfit that expires half way through the day!) I recently discovered these jeans at a Levi’s appointment and instantly fell in love. I’d recommend going a size up if you’re on the curvier side, since the fabric is rigid.
MONDAY...
Big, big day of shows! Carolina Herrera, TWP, Zankov, Coach, Diotima, Tory Burch—all before 7pm. And did I mention we’re still in the thick of finishing our March issue? And that there’s still snow on the ground here? Getting dressed is a battlefield! Just kidding, I’m being dramatic. But it can feel like a slog when you’re handling a bunch of other stuff. Good thing this Kallmeyer jacket came into my life. Makes every outfit infinitely better.
TUESDAY...
Last day of shows! Michael Kors, Kallmeyer, and Thom Browne: One of my most favorite days of all of New York Fashion Week. You know when you take in a little too much (albeit incredible) outfit inspiration and have to go back to your personal basics; the tried and true of your own style? That’s what this outfit is. Elegant, put-together, and ultimately, easy.
WEDNESDAY...
Bed! Rot! Day! And by that I actually mean working from home in my most comfortable, Google Meet-appropriate clothes and running a few errands that fell by the wayside over the week.
