Out of Nearly 3K Markdowns, These 10 Are Easily My Favorites From Nordstrom's Sale
Period.
Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for: Nordstrom's epic Anniversary Sale has officially begun. As someone who's shopped this exact sale for the majority of her life—whether in-person at my hometown mall or online—I know a thing or two about navigating the markdown event without getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of buy-worthy options. And trust me, it isn't always easy. Since I don't want any of you to go through the shopping-induced stress that I had to overcome years ago, I thought I'd make things simple by going through the entire fashion side of the sale—aka nearly 3000 items (and that's just the women's section)—and picking out the 10 best finds.
From elegant tops, skirts, and shoes to practical staples like cashmere sweaters, jeans, and eyewear, the 10 items below are all you need to fill out your year-round wardrobe on a budget during one of Nordstrom's biggest sales. My advice? Don't wait to shop. Though the Anniversary Sale will continue until August 4, pieces will be selling out at lightning speed, so if something in the mix below catches your eye, act on it. Believe me—you'll regret it if you don't.

I always buy at least one Nordstrom cashmere sweater when they go on sale to both keep for myself and to gift to my family when the holidays or a birthday roll around. Trust me, they're very grateful every year.
Any time I spot a pair of 501s on sale, I buy them. My denim collection is overflowing, but I'll never regret adding another pair.
These could easily be $300+, but instead, they're $60 right now and come in four colors.
I'm doing so much traveling this summer, and this bag has been my saving grace. I start with it small and zipped and then expand it whenever I buy something on my trip.
I'll never stop loving a Canadian tuxedo. To me, it's as chic a combination as any pencil or slip skirt and an off-the-shoulder top.
You really can't go wrong with a pair of Madewell jeans. The price is fantastic for the quality you get.
