42 Summer Arrivals From Nordstrom, Saks, and Zara I'm Freaking Out Over
And you will too.
It may have been a weird spring weather-wise, but here in New York, we've had a string of above-70-degree days and it's getting me so excited for true summer weather to kick in. I don't know about you, but nothing gets me more excited for a new season like shopping for wardrobe updates. There's no seasonal transition that I'm more passionate about than the one from spring into summer. Suddenly, all I want to wear are airy little dresses, pretty skirts, and strappy sandals. With summer coming into view, I'm also keeping tabs on what would make for a cool item to wear on some of the upcoming vacations on my calendar.
Thankfully for me, my favorite retailers are amping up their new arrivals just as my summer shopping fever is setting in. All week, I've been toggling between a dizzying number of browser tabs at Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Zara. Let me tell you—I've sourced some very good finds. Here, I'm sharing the 42 summer-ready items from these three sites that I'm losing it over and know you will too. Happy shopping!
Nordstrom
I haven't stopped thinking about the mod Mary-Jane flats from Tory Burch's spring/summer 2024 runway and now that they've arrived, I might just have to reward myself with them for being so patient.
In case, like me, you waited this long into trench season to find the perfect one, this cool modular pick could be calling your name.
Chic, easy, affordable. These might just be the smartest $34 you spend this season.
While this would naturally make a great beach tote, I'd like to make the case for its use as a city tote, too.
If these are still in stock come June, I'll be genuinely shocked.
When fashion people aren't wearing denim shorts this summer, they'll 100% be in something tailored like this.
The color of the season, butter yellow, just so happens to coincide with wedding season, and I think that's beautiful.
Maybe I'm watching too much Sex and the City, but these are very Carrie coded.
Not the first bubble hem in this roundup, and it won't be the last.
I predict bloomers like this will be the micro trend that lights up our feeds this summer.
Saks
There are a dizzying number designer bags on the market right now, but none feel quite as fresh as Prada's belt bag, a capacious satchel that leans into 2024's big bag theme.
Cigarette pants are on my radar with the rise of elegant dressing, and to me, Khaite's version is perfect.
This might be one of the most beautiful dresses I've seen this month if not all year.
I thought I couldn't love anything more than Prada's square-toe satin mules. Until I saw this T-bar pair, that is.
If you know me IRL, you know I'm a big supporter of capri pants and I love this tailored pair.
Something about this reminds me of the early aughts, but in the best way.
I'm already mentally building my vacation wardrobe and these are on the mood board.
I can't imagine an occasion where these simple sandals wouldn't work.
Gucci's new G-Timeless watch looks anything but modern.
Zara

Hi friends, Anna here! I knew pretty early on that I wanted to pursue a career in fashion, so I took on just about every internship, scholarship, and volunteer opportunity I could get my hands on before landing my dream job at Who What Wear as a post-grad. Currently, my role is associate editor at Who What Wear, which allows me to write about everything from Hailey Bieber's latest 'fit to the emerging micro-trends on my radar. While fashion is my main wheelhouse, you can also catch me chatting about wellness on our sister site THE/THIRTY. When I'm not whipping up my next story at the office, chances are I'm scouring my local vintage store, perfecting my focaccia recipe, or planning my next trip. (I'm a Sagittarius, so the travel bug is real.) I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Los Angeles, where I studied Italian and art history at UCLA, taking a semester to study abroad in Bologna, Italy, (yes, I'm fluent!) and another to backpack around Southeast Asia. (What did I say about the wanderlust?) I spent the first two and a half years of my career working at our WWW headquarters in L.A. but just made the move to NYC and couldn't be more excited for what's to come—so stay tuned.
