I have a few trips planned this summer (Italy! France!), so I’m on the hunt for new pieces to wear on my travels. Nothing against my regular clothes, but I get so bored when repeatedly packing the same pieces. That's why I’m using Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale to pick up a few new last-minute vacation-ready essentials.

The sale, which kicks off on May 22 and runs through June 2 (which is coming up!) is one of the retailer’s largest of the year (and is one of my favorite all-time favorite sales to shop). I’ve found a best-selling pair of linen pants I wear all the time on sale for $50, enough trendy swimsuits to last a week at the beach, and bathing suit coverups that will pull double-duty in your collection. Not to mention the mesh flats that will become your new go-to pick this summer even after you get home. And the flared leggings from Zella on this list? They'll upgrade your go-to travel outfit so you look chic at the airport (yes, it's possible).
