The Amazing History-Nerd Fashion Moment You Missed from Last Night's Tonys
Hope you paid attention in AP U.S. History.
Aside from screening your Tinder dates by quizzing them on the Dreyfus affair and William Walker casually invading Nicaragua, American history as we learned it in high school doesn't really seem to be applicable to Everyday Life as they said it would be. (#conspiracy) However, at last night's Tony Awards, a single, subtly cheeky detail made all those years of pop quizzes and mock debates almost nearly fine, I give up worth it. Behold, nerds:

Wearing Erdem, Bee Shaffer attended the ceremony in support of both Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. and the two dead white dudes the musical is about, via her pearly bespoke Edie Parker "Jean" clutch.

Judging by the comments on Shaffer's Insta, it won't be long before the clamor rises to an uproar, but if you couldn't *possibly* wait for production to meet demand, etc., etc., Parker does have a customization service. We'd personally choose the "Trunk" clutch, though—more room for a pair of dueling pistols.
