13 Times Celebrities Wore House Slippers in Public
It's a lifestyle.

House slippers aren't limited to the confinement of your abode. If they have a durable sole and good arch support, why wouldn't you want to wear them outdoors? Just ask some of your favorite celebrities. Whether they're heading to the airport or simply walking around town, stars like Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj have dared to wear house slippers in public. From Hello Kitty footwear to UGGs (the brand's scuffette style is especially popular in Hollywood), see which celebrity took bathleisure to the next level. And rocked it.

Justin Bieber
In case you didn't get the hint, the Biebs wants you to look at his Louis Vuitton slippers. He wore the logo-covered house shoe with sweats and a hoodie while out and about in NYC. This was just the start of his slipper obsession.

Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj visited fuse's "Top 20 Countdown" in a pink suit and Hello Kitty...slippers? The kawaii shoes matched the color palate Minaj had going for the day. Should you want a pair, get similar ones here.

Jared Leto
Google "Jared Leto house slippers" and you'll find that the actor wears slippers in public quite often. His count might even rival that of Bieber's. Here he is leaving his hotel in a brown pair of UGG scuff slippers, which he also has in black.

Jameela Jamil
After chocolate reportedly exploded all over Jameela Jamil's suitcase and ruined her clothes, the actress took it in all good humor, wearing her pajamas and teddy bear slippers out the door. She wore the cactus-print ensemble to Good Morning America and People, and gave a thumbs up to the paparazzi. At least her sleep outfit was cute!

Usher
As Usher proves, sleepwear equals chic streetwear. The singer was spotted walking around NYC in a pair of Fendi house slippers that retailed for $1,450. (They're leather lined and had heels made from soft deer hide.) He paired them with a pink t-shirt, drawstring pants, and a zip-up jacket for a high-end comfort look.

Tiffany Haddish
When Haddish went on stage to present an award at the 2018 Oscars, she swapped her heels for a pair of UGGs and won the admiration of the internet. The shoes peeked out from underneath her Alexander McQueen dress and, say no more, we're buying them for $83.

Katy Perry
Taking a page out of Tiffany Haddish's book, Katy Perry left Jimmy Kimmel Live in a pair of UGG slippers the day after the Oscars. She wore the shoes with a yellow leopard trench and geometric print trousers. Though Perry rocked heels for her actual segment on the show, we don't blame her for wanting to switch out of the heels as soon as she could.

Vanessa Hudgens
Another fan of UGG's scuffette slippers is Vanessa Hudgens. The star was spotted leaving her mom's house in Toluca Lake, CA, in a chestnut pair. The house slipper sure is versatile.

Reba Mcentire
There's no place more tiring while wearing heels than at a red carpet event. Reba Mcentire thought ahead and brought along a pair of red slippers when she hosted the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The musician and actress unabashedly flashed her house shoes—which matched her dress—for photographers, proving comfort comes first.
