5 of The Biggest Fall Trends Spotted at Every Single Fashion Week This Season
Here's how to shop them for $500 or less.
Fashion Month 2024 has come and gone, and what a whirlwind it's been. There was a dog fashion show in New York, maximalist beauty moments in Milan, and major celebrity news coming out of Paris thanks to Bella Hadid at Saint Laurent and Kylie Jenner at Coperni. But now that it's all over, we can discuss the best fashion week looks that took place off the runways. After poring over hundreds of photos from London, New York, Milan, and Paris, I noticed the season's most fashionable attendees were sporting a few fall 2024 trends that you can shop now that the new season is officially here.
We've already discussed the dominating shoe trends from the month—boots in Paris, sneakers in New York, and comfortable go-to's in Milan and London—but now it's time to discuss the clothes everyone wore all month long. There was so much to love. Think: leopard print, refreshed versions of your staple leather jacket, and a few suede pieces you want to wear every autumn. Plus, the street stylers had their own take on the season's trendiest colors.
Showgoers may have worn these outfits to discover the newest trends for Spring 2025, but I guarantee that their outfits tap into the fall trends that women actually want to wear—and I've found the pieces to prove it. If you need inspiration for your fall outfit rotation, I've got you covered with the chicest of street-style photos on the internet, plus a healthy dose of under-$500 finds to add to your online cart.
Leopard Print
Leopard print is everywhere this fall. After it was spotted (pun intended) on the fall 2024 runways back in February, it didn't take long for A-listers like Ashley Graham, Hailey Bieber, and Jennifer Lawrence to adopt the print into their daily outfit rotations. Now that the street style set has approved of it, too, it's safe to say the print is here to stay.
Leather Jackets
Less of a trend and more of a fall essential, leather jackets are a staple of every fashion girl's capsule wardrobe. However, the street stylers at Fashion Month had a fresh take on the classic piece. Sure, you can opt for and should have a go-to motorcycle jacket in your rotation, but why not try something a bit more outside the box? Go for a leather trench like the girls in London, a trending leather bomber jacket like the ones seen in New York, or a polished blazer option spotted all over Milan.
Suede Separates
Suede is having a moment right now, thanks to brands like The Row, Coach, and Miu Miu. According to Fashion Month showgoers, the fabric works when it takes the form of a maxi skirt, the perfect transitional fall jacket, or a trendy handbag, like Coach's mega-famous Brooklyn bag.
Pops of Red
Just when you thought the red color trend was slowing down, fashion month came by and proved it's not going anywhere. Cherry red is still everywhere, but so are other, deeper shades like oxblood. However, street stylers aren't wearing the hue from head to toe. Instead, it's taking the form of a bright handbag, a flashy pair of flats, or a bright scarf layered over a classic trench.
Sheer Fabrics
The naked dress trend reigned supreme among the fashion crowd on and off the runway. This season's attendees stayed cool—in style and temperature—with mesh and lacy fabrics in dresses, tops, and skirts. As it turns out, the sheer skirt trend and its counterparts are much more wearable than you might think. With a few contrasting opaque pieces, you can show off exactly what you want and keep hidden what you don't.
