The Best Cashmere Sweaters for Fall Are Hiding in Brands’ Sale Sections

I found 28 under-$300 finds from Nordstrom, J.Crew, Saks, and more to prove it.

Ask me what I’m wearing during the fall and winter months, and nine times out of ten, I’ll say a sweater. There’s nothing like a chunky knit that keeps me looking put together on the outside and feeling warm and cozy on the inside. While every piece in my knitwear collection is a favorite, none are more prized than my cashmere sweaters. They're softer, warmer, and tend to be more elevated, but the downside is that they come with a steeper price tag—that is, if you don't know where to look. Thankfully, as your resident shopping expert, I'm here to share my top tip when buying new cashmere: check out the sale section.

Before the chilly seasons get fully underway, there are so many can't-miss cashmere sales across the web. There are cashmere cardigans and crewnecks for 25 percent off at J.Crew, while Quince's luxe turtleneck sweaters are over 50 percent off. Meanwhile, plenty of chic V-neck options are also 25 percent off at Saks Fifth Avenue, to name a few of my favorite hidden deals.

You won't find these prices in a month or so. Keep scrolling to shop the best cozy finds from some of my favorite retailers, all broken down by style. Rest assured every one of these picks has a price tag of $300 and under.
