Aritzia Is Having a Rare Sale—These Are the 24 Summer Basics in My Cart
Including a viral TikTok top, going-out dresses, and more.
As a New Yorker, I am constantly running into what I deem to be a Cool Fashion Girl—those girls who wear their summer basics with a certain je ne sais quoi. In an effort to match their energy, I'm looking to update my summer capsule wardrobe by shopping at one of the stores these cool girls shop at the most: Aritzia. Better yet, the brand's summer sale has everything I need to make my warm-weather wardrobe better.
There's never been a more perfect time to elevate my style. No matter the season, Aritzia never has a shortage of luxe yet affordable finds. But, from now through June 23, Aritzia's offerings are discounted, with hundreds of items at up to 50 percent off.
Ahead, shop 24 of my personal favorite pieces. I found a few warm-weather staples like white button-downs you could easily wear to the office, summer dresses perfect for a weekend away and slip dresses I know I will be living in on a night out. I even found a top going viral online that looks just as good in real life.
I'll say it once and I'll say it again: a button-down shirt is a hero piece in your wardrobe. Wear it over tank tops, T-shirts, and dresses, or with your favorite trousers and linen shorts. The possibilities are (nearly) endless.
Who knew a dress could be so comfortable? This slinky jersey one was made for lounging, but it's just as easy to dress up with heels for a night out.
For your summer going-out outfits, you'll want to add this top to your cart. The off-the-shoulder neckline provides a sexy peek of skin while keeping things classy.
Miu Miu's micro miniskirt caused such a stir when it debuted and I'm still thinking about it two years later. This one is the more approachable (read: longer) version of the viral version.
After Beyoncé, Sydney Sweeney, and Gisele Bündchen all put their spin on the Canadian tuxedo this year, I've wanted to test drive the look myself. I think this shirt paired with a maxi denim skirt would be a trendy yet put-together look.
The next time you don't know what to wear when it's sweltering hot, go with this pretty white dress. It's made from 100 percent cotton poplin so you'll stay cool all day long.
While I love a classic button-down, a cropped version is an excellent way to switch up my closet. Play with proportions by pairing it with your baggiest pair of jeans.
Pleats and cargo pockets make this midi skirt so much more elevated than the rest in your collection.
This top would be so easy to throw on with linen pants. You'll stay comfy and cool in head-to-toe linen—in both the literal and style sense.
It isn't summer unless denim shorts are in your regular outfit rotation. I'm a big fan of this pair which features a high-rise and a wider leg all in a vintage-esque rigid fabric.
There's no doubt you've seen this tank top while scrolling on TikTok. Now's your chance to try it out for yourself while its 50 percent off. It comes in 12 colors from neutrals to brights, but you'll want to hurry—this top is selling fast.
Whoever said it was hard to get dressed for work in the summer hasn't seen these shorts yet. Imagine how chic they would look paired with a designer belt and slide sandals.
The next time you're tempted to reach for jeans, wear this skirt instead for added ladylike charm.
Leave it to Aritzia to have me coveting yet another pair of cargo pants. This white pair is calling my name for summer, but they also come in black, beige, and olive green.
This versatile dress can easily take you from morning meetings to happy hour. It gets bonus points for the hidden loops under the shoulders that keep your bra straps tucked away.
This skirt reminds me of 2000s fashion in the best way. From the ruffles and asymmetric hemline, this nostalgic skirt would work well for hot summer nights.
Summer is the season of parties and this slip dress works for just about all of them. Wear it now with strappy sandals then in the fall with tights and knee-high boots.
A pair of tailored trousers like these will go far in your wardrobe. Of course, you can wear them to work, but dress them down with sneakers and a cropped tee for a laid back vibe.
Maybe it's because I'm still not over Challengers and Zendaya's tenniscore looks, but this pleated skirt just shot up to the top of my wishlist. This sporty piece would make my pickleball outfits actually stylish.
I'm shocked to see that this $27 top is still in stock, but I bet it won't be for long. Not only is it in a trendy summer color but the strapless neckline feels even more of the moment.
You've probably seen a fashion girl in the trending white skirt outfit by now. While editors and influencers have loved the longer version, this shorter style works just as well.
If you haven't tried Aritzia's Contour line, do yourself a favor a get this on-sale romper. The double-lined fabric is smooth to the touch and hugs your body in all of the right places.
Aritzia has made the internet-famous top into a dress, and it has quite the fanbase—nearly every one of the 19 colors offered has sizes sold out, so snag this sculpting dress while you still can.
Despite what the name of this find suggests, the best tank tops are anti-trend. They go with everything in your closet, so you might as well stock up on a few while this staple is just $19.
