Consider me a trend convert.

Most Coveted is a shopping series sharing our editors’ curation of the must-know items they can’t stop thinking about.
The "new year, new me" adage never gets old, especially when applied to our closets, and in 2025, I'm looking to reinvent my wardrobe (yet again). As a bona fide Gen Z editor, I can't help but love a buzzy new trend taking over on social media. Piece by piece, I plan to work in some of the year's most popular pieces and aesthetics into my personal style. Currently, my daily rotation consists of crisp T-shirts, cozy knits, denim, and button-ups—all the great makings of a capsule wardrobe, but admittedly, they can become repetitive after a while. I've been inspired to spice things up with new textures, colors, and accessories, and lucky for me, these are all expected on this year's trend report.
2025's trend cycle won't be too far off from the past year's. Suede accessories will still be a hit, complemented by modern, less costumey boho aesthetics. Other trends staying strong are sporty, laid-back styles like track pants, baseball hats, chunky sneakers, and preppy polos. I might be biased working in an office and all, but my bets are on corporate core remaining in the spotlight, with oversize silhouettes and '80s-like charm giving the sometimes stuffy style a much-needed reset. See-through pieces will take on a more pared-back, safe-for-work vibe, and finally, cute charms will be the go-to way to dress up your bags, shoes, and accessories. Ahead, shop 30 on-trend items I'm adding to my mood board this year.
Suede

Elevate the T-shirt and jeans combo with this timeless yet trendy belt.
Sporty Spice
Gigi Hadid's cashmere collection puts a cool-girl spin on the sophisticated knit, and this polo top is no different.
If the cashmere knit is out of budget, this under-$100 rugby style is another great option.
You can wear these when headed to pilates or dress them up with trousers and a cozy sweater to run errands.
Corporate Cool
I just bought these and they look and feel much more expensive than they are.
Swap your typical black loafers for 2025's shade of the year: mocha mousse.
The Frankie Shop has mastered the elevated basic. Case in point: This oversized blazer.
I'd love to dress this tote up with kitschy bag charms, silk scarves, and chains to give it a Gen Z vibe.
Personalized Accessories
Wrap this scarf around your bag, wear it tied around your neck, or use it as a belt—the styling opportunities are endless.
No notes. This Vivienne Westwood charm is so precious.
For $20 you can turn your favorite pair of sneakers into a custom work of art.
What's more personalized than a pendant with your initial?
Sophisticated Sheer
The pointed toe and floral details set these mesh mules apart.
Modern Boho
If you're looking to try out the motorcycle boot trend, these under-$100 boots are for you.
