What does "skin salesman" even mean?

It's been a weird year. I get it. A lot has happened. We've been indoors too long. Dale and Clare are like, maybe back together? I'm weird. You're a little weird. But The Bachelorette's just released contestant bios? They are just too weird.

As is tradition, ABC released the names and bios of the men hoping to win bachelorette Katie Thurston's heart/TV proposal fun facts and today tweeted out some highlights, posting graphics for each of the men that are...well:

First of all, the graphics themselves are a resounding, what? But the facts presented... There doesn't seem to be a "chicken enthusiast" this season, but I would say "skin salesman" is definitely an eyebrow-raiser. I'd assume they mean skincare salesman, as in someone who sells products to care for one's skin, but since this is The Bachelorette, I'm preparing for the literal interpretation and what that means. Makes it extra !!! that one of his fun facts is "all animals love him" then too.

Anyway, I had a lot of weird feelings. And the internet agreed.

Can't wait for this season to start!
