Sydney Sweeney Shares Her Favorite YA Reads in 'Shelf Portrait'
'Euphoria' star Sydney Sweeney reveals her favorite YA reads while showing us her bookshelf in Marie Claire's 'Shelf Portrait' series. Watch it here.
Sydney Sweeney has been doing some reading during quarantine, much like the rest of us. During that time, the Euphoria actress gives us a peek at her bookshelf in Marie Claire's latest episode of Shelf Portrait, where celebrities, influencers, and famous bookworms invite us inside their homes to show off their personal libraries. Relatable content alert: Sweeney says one of her favorite childhood books was The Care & Keeping of You. Anybody else's mom secretly slide that into their bookshelf? Just me?
Aside from that wonderful book, Sweeney's bookshelf is filled with great YA reads. We Used to Be Friends by Amy Spalding is on Sweeney's list of favorite books, along with Christine Riccio's Again, But Better and Kim Liggett's The Grace Year (she wants the latter to be adapted into a movie). You'll notice Sweeney's face light up when she pulls out Jessica Goodman's They Wish They Were Us. Sweeney is set to adapt the book into a limited series alongside Jean-Marc Vallée and Nathan Ross through her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films, and star in the series with Halsey.
Watch Sweeney's full Shelf Portrait video, above, then order some of her favorite books for yourself, below.
