See If the Cast of 'Booksmart' Got to Know Each Other On Set
Hanging with this crew is like having a personal fan club.

Booksmart is officially in theaters! The wait for a badass coming-of-age female comedy is finally over! (Think Superbad but finally appealing to a female audience.) Olivia Wilde makes her directorial debut and even included her husband Jason Sudeikis as the school principal. The film stars Beanie Feldstein (Jonah Hill's little sister) and Kaitlyn Dever as two BFFs on the cusp of entering college who decide to have a wild time now after a lifetime of working super hard to get into school.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that a film like this was made? Superbad came out when I was in high school and though I laughed and found the dick drawings amusing, I wanted to know more about Emma Stone's character, Jules. Where was she going in the fall? How did she deal with that horrible nose injury? And who was Jules' friend that wanted Kyle's Killer Lemonade? I want to know more about her. Now, we have Booksmart to give us the screen time and character arcs we know teen girls deserve.
Beanie and Kailtyn stopped by the Marie Claire offices to play a game of 'How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star?' with castmates Billie Lourd and Noah Galvin, and all I can say is the love in that cast is so real. Imagine having three hypemen with you all day? A dream, right? Watch the video to witness the love for yourself and look out for the cringeworthy moment Kaitlyn had on Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David.
Booksmart is in theaters now.
