Kris Jenner
Kristen Mary Houghton is the woman who started the Kardashian Kraze. But we know her now by the shortened name "Kris." Her and her younger sister Karen both share "K" names, though their parents' names were Robert and Mary Jo.

Meaning behind the name Mason
Mason was an obvious name for Kourtney to choose. “Right before he was born, I told my aunt we were thinking about going with that for a name. She told me that Mason means the same thing in English that Kardashian means in Armenian—stone worker,” Kourtney told MTV. "Another aunt told me my great uncle used to use the name Mason when he made dinner reservations, because Kardashian was too long.”
Meaning behind the middle name Dash
Surprisingly, Mason’s middle name does not come from his mom’s clothing store like some people have suggested. "That would be stupid. Dash is short for Kardashian, and it was my father's nickname,” Kourtney clarified to MTV.

North West

North was originally a rumored name, though Kimye had no intentions of using it. In an interview she explained how they ended up actually choosing that name. Kim said Pharrell came up to her and Kanye and asked if they were going to call her North because he thought it was really cool. But Kim shot down the idea. Then she said, “A little while later Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us 'North is a genius name.' Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. A source told E! they had been referring to him as “Saint” throughout the nine months "because she had such a difficult pregnancy.” He was “a blessing” to the couple who have since opted to use surrogacy to have another child to avoid any more pregnancy complications.

Kardashian fans believed Kimye would name their son South, for obvious reasons—it goes with their daughter North’s name. Kim quickly shot down those rumors in an interview with NPR when she said, “I don't like South West, though, because that's like—you know, North will always be better.”
