Anna-Maria Sieklucka Almost Didn't Play Laura In '365 Dni'
The hit film is the 28-year-old's first role.
It's safe to say the international romance film 365 Dni (365 Days) is basically 50 Shades of Grey on steroids. The popular Polish book of the same name hit Netflix in June, and people have a lot of thoughts. I guarantee like 99 percent of them are about that one boat scene or Michele Morrone, who plays the male lead.
The movie follows a hot Italian mobster named Massimo who kidnaps an equally hot girl named Laura, played by Anna-Maria Sieklucka, and gives her one year to fall in love with him. If she doesn't, she's free to go. It's a simple romantic concept, yet morally wrong and deeply problematic! Ah, a classic trope.
Before the second movie starts filming (because after that cliffhanger they'll need one) learn more about Anna-Maria Sieklucka, the 28-year-old actress, from Poland who plays Laura.

Shocker, I know! Before starring in the erotic thriller alongside Morrone, she had only one other acting credit, a single episode of a Polish medical drama series called Na dobre i na zle.
She starred in multiple plays while studying at the Wrocław-based State Theater School, but this was her first time on the big screen. She learned a lot while filming, she says. On the press tour for the film, according to The Sun, Sieklucka noted, "The biggest surprise while working on this film was related to the emotions inside me, which I had to bring out."
When it came to filming the movie's more X-rated scenes, that pushed the actress out of her comfort zone. "One of the most difficult experiences was to overcome shyness and to show the nudity we will see on the screen," said Sieklucka on that same press tour.
No, Sieklucka Is Not Dating Michele Morrone
Despite what you see from those sex scenes, she's not dating Morrone, who plays Massimo in the film, IRL. Instead, she's snuggling up to boyfriend, theatre director, Lukasz Witt-Michałowski.

There's only one photo of them out on the internet, and the actress wants to keep it that way.
She shared an Instagram photo with Witt-Michałowski captioning it, "Jedno. Prywatne. I więcej nie będzie. Peace and love." This translates to "One. Private. And there will be no more. Peace and love." We stan!

The couple with an 18-year age difference met at theatre school. He's currently managing a theatre project called the InVitro Stage in Lublin, Poland, according to Pomponik . Sieklucka recently starred in one of her beau's productions, the play called Clay of Inna Clay, according to Eska.
But Sieklucka Almost Didn't Play Laura

The actress explained to Newseria Lifstyle that she wasn't sure if she wanted to take the role after reading the script.
"I hesitated because it is a very strong subject and my debut," Sieklucka said to the Polish publication. "Talks with the creators took a long time, about my fears, what I would like to avoid, and what I was simply afraid of in the world. When confronting them, I knew that I was in good hands and that everything would be all right."
