Princess Charlene of Monaco Channeled Her Mother-in-Law Grace Kelly at an Event Honoring Her
We had to do a double take.

Princess Charlene of Monaco was giving off major Grace Kelly vibes in a sparkling purple column gown Wednesday night in Beverly Hills at the Princess Grace Awards Gala, held in honor of her late mother-in-law.
Princess Charlene joined her husband Prince Albert II of Monaco at the event held by the Princess Grace Foundation, which was founded by Albert’s father Prince Rainier III to honor his wife’s legacy by supporting emerging talent in film, theater, and dance.
Princess Charlene's shimmering column gown, swept-back blonde hair, and diamond earrings brought to mind her late mother-in-law, who left her Hollywood career behind to become the Princess of Monaco when she married Prince Rainier III.
Isn't the resemblance striking?
As Princess Charlene walked the red carpet at the Beverly Hills Hotel, she was presented a bouquet by a little girl on the red carpet and mingled with Sex and the City actress, Kristin Davis, and the second man to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, at the celebrity-filled event.
Later on that night, the two Monegasque royals presented film director James Cameron with the Prince Rainier III Award, which recognizes leaders in the arts who also give back to their communities. Cameron, who is known for some of the highest grossing films of all time, including Titanic and Avatar, was honored for his "outstanding contributions to the arts" and "exemplary give-back,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
