Is your New Year's resolution to finally leave your unfulfilling job? The new year is a perfect time to reevaluate your career path and figure out if it's time for a change. And if you're ready to jump into another job entirely, there are lots of fields that have great salaries, lots of job openings, and plenty of room to move up on the corporate ladder.
Glassdoor, a site that collects workplace reviews from employees, comes up with its annual list of best jobs by ranking median annual base salary, number of job openings, and career advancement opportunities. It's not surprising that their list features lots of tech jobs, since they have higher base salaries and lots of job openings. If you know how to code, you're golden—and if you don't, you should learn, stat.
Here are the top 10 best jobs in America, and you can check out Glassdoor for the full list. Their survey found that 45 percent of people are thinking of looking for a new job this year, so competition might be stiff.
