2017 is shaping up to be a very sparkly one for the beauty industry. Following recent makeup launch announcements, like Stila's new holographic shadows and MAC's metallic glitter lipsticks, Urban Decay's co-founder Wende Zomnir posted a pic to her Instagram teasing the launch of the brand's new Vice Special Effects Liquid Lip Water-Resistant Topcoats. Yes, you read that right: Urban Decay is coming out with a collection of topcoats to apply over your lipstick, just like you would over your nail polish.
And in true Urban Decay form, the topcoats will be the complete opposite of basic. The collection will feature 12 different shades of metallic, iridescent, and sparkly topcoats that will seal in your lipstick and boost your look to the highest level of glam possible at the same damn time.
A super-glam plus? UD's always-fierce brand ambassador Ruby Rose is fronting the topcoat's campaign. And they will be available on UrbanDecay.com on March 23rd for $18. So you don't have to wait too much longer to take your lipstick to the next, extra-glittery level.
