Is a lipstick really YOUR lipstick if it doesn't have your individual print stamped onto it?

A woman's got to wonder now that Smashbox is offering just that. To coincide with the launch of their #BeLegendary lipstick collection—which includes a whopping 120 shades—you can play the #BeLegendary Lipstick Matching Game, which not only helps you select your ideal color, but gives you a code to redeem a first-of-its-kind, 3-D-printed lipstick.

Printed on a compact as opposed to a tube in the universally-flattering orange shade "fireball," you can apply it with a brush or your fingers for a blurred look. And, obviously, brag to your friends that it's 100% unique to you.

Smashbox promises that this is "only the beginning" of 3D-printed makeup, so real talk: the future is now.

If you're still mystified by 3D printing, trust us, we're right there with you. In simplest terms, it's basically printing in layers of a certain material, each one stacking upon the last, to create a 3D object. What gives it an edge over other types of production is that it makes individual customization a million times easier and less costly. In other words, 3D hair extensions and signature compacts are just the beginning.

You can play the #BeLegendary Lipstick Matching Game up until October 12 and redeem your custom lipstick compact through October 31.
