The 9 Best Prada Fragrances, Ranked And Reviewed
Paradoxe obviously tops the list.
There are few brands that are as iconic as Prada. Not only is the label beloved by fashion fans around the world but it has also conquered the beauty space with both skin and cosmetics collections and a whopping 96 scents to date. The fashion house launched its first fragrance in 2004—Prada Amber pour Homme and Prada Amber pour Femme—and while I still have a few more to go before I've collected them all, I definitely have my favorites from the vast selection. From the beloved Candy collection to the Paradoxe line, I've been sniffing and spritzing Prada creations for over a decade.
With that in mind, I know that investing in perfume is a serious decision—the last thing you want is to spend over $100 on something you later realize doesn’t suit you or lacks staying power for a long day of work.
There are amazing scents on the market, among them Tom Ford, Jo Malone, and Diptyque, but still Prada is the luxury perfume brand that I swear by after all my years in the beauty industry. The scents linger for hours and wear beautifully on the skin. Plus, the elegant bottles elevate any vanity, serving as décor in their own right.
Below, I've ranked my favorite Prada scents and even sourced a few opinions from fragrance influencer friends—because who better to convince you than those who live to influence? Our top Prada picks are ahead.

- Best Long-Lasting Prada Fragrance: Prada Pardoxe Intense Eau de Parfum
- Best Floral Prada Fragrance: Prada Paradox Virtual Flower Eau de Parfum
- Best Citrus Prada Fragrance: Prada Infusion Gingembre Eau de Parfum
- Best Unisex Prada Fragrance: Prada Infusion Dyland Eau de Parfum
Paradoxe is instantly iconic with its signature triangle-shaped bottle. The scent envelops you immediately—a sweet blend of fresh neroli bud, sensual amber accord, and intense white musks. It feels youthful, but not in a body spray way; it’s a strong, sophisticated fragrance that will linger all day, especially when sprayed on clothing.
Notes: Neroli bud, amber accord, white musks
What We Love: Sweet scent, feels youthful
What We Don’t: The bottle doesn’t lay straight
Review for MC: “Prada Paradoxe strikes that perfect balance between flirty and sophisticated. I’m always switching up my scent depending on my mood, so Paradoxe is my go-to for a chic girls’ night out on the Upper East Side. Although I typically wear multiple perfumes at once, the fresh florals mixed with the warm amber notes in Paradoxe speaks for itself—no additions needed!” — Margot Lee, Influencer
With Paradoxe Intense Eau de Parfum, I was worried about how strong it might be, but it wasn’t as overpowering as I expected. It feels like the older sister of the original Paradoxe—refined, as if you've studied abroad and returned with a more sophisticated, yet still demure, presence. The fragrance exudes a subtle elegance, striking the perfect balance between youthful charm and grown-up grace, thanks to the notes of jasmine flower and amber accord.
Notes: Jasmine flower, amber accord
What We Love: A versatile “everyday” scent
What We Don’t: May be too strong for some
Review for MC: “Prada Paradoxe is definitely one of my top fragrances! I’m a warm and floral scent kind of girl and this perfume hits all of those notes. I love wearing this on a day full of errands to a night out with the girls; it’s so versatile!” — Kiran Meghani, Influencer
While Virtual Flower contains notes of jasmine, neroli, musk, ambrette, and vert de bergamot, it’s not a floral scent in the traditional sense. Instead, it evokes a complex, anonymous flower that’s hard to pinpoint. It wears beautifully on the skin, much better than on a tester strip. However, going overboard is easy, so I’d recommend just a few spritzes on key touch points on your body and calling it a day.
Notes: Jasmine, neroli, musk, ambrette, vert de bergamot
What We Love: It's soft and feminine, but has staying power
What We Don’t: Easy to spray too much and smell too strong
Review for MC: “My favorite Prada fragrance is Paradoxe Virtual Flower. I’ve always been a fan of fragrances that have notes of jasmine ever since I was a little, and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve also grown fond of notes like musk and ambrette. I love how Prada’s Virtual Flower perfectly blends the two to create a light and airy fragrance that I can wear all day long and all year long too.” — Alyssa Lenore, Influencer
I didn’t know what to expect with Infusion de Gingembre, but it gives off serious and determined energy. It’s perfect if you’re looking for something subtle and non-floral while remaining very grounding and earthy. It almost has a cilantro-like scent, with a refreshing I'm-busy-cooking-in-the-kitchen energy. Imagine sniffing lemon soap but in an elevated, Prada way.
Notes: Green mandarin, ginger geranium, vetiver
What We Love: Not your typical floral fragrance — in a good way; you'll smell distinct
What We Don’t: The earthiness of the fragrance may not work for everyone
Review for MC: “Prada Infusion Gingembre is like a time machine. It takes me back to the fresh air of Hawaii, a highlight of my late 20s when I learned to surf and rediscovered myself. But it also reminds me of crisp autumn days in NYC, when the leaves change color and farmers' markets are in full swing.” — Janice Thi Tran, Influencer
Infusion D'Ylang leans unisex with strong notes of ylang-ylang flower paired with bergamot and sandalwood. It blends traditionally masculine elements with a feminine floral touch. (Though, of course, there’s no such thing as gender in the world of fragrance.) It’s fresh, citrusy, and musky all at once, and I can’t get enough. If the idea of trying something new feels overwhelming, might I suggest the travel version with this perfume?
Notes: Bergamot cardamom, ylang base, sandalwood
What We Love: Unisex scent that works for everyone
What We Don’t: High price point
Review for MC: “This scent distinctively took me back to childhood—perhaps an aunt or family member wore it, as it carries a sense of nostalgia. Not a 1920s nostalgia, but more of a 2004 vibe. The floral notes aren’t overpowering; they’re subtle yet impactful, with a light touch that still makes a strong impression.” — Iman Balagam, Contributing Beauty Writer
Other Prada Fragrances We Love
If you can’t escape to the woods to soak in the scents of nature, store-bought will do just fine. This woody fragrance is perfect for those who prefer something earthy, with notes of mandarin, benzoin, and incense. It’s especially fitting for fall when you want something cozier.
Notes: Cedarwood, mandarin, benzoin, incense
What We Love: A very cozy fragrance
What We Don’t: Some may find too woody
For fans of Thierry Mugler’s Angel, this amber scent from Prada will speak to you. It feels warm and sweet yet wholesome and grounding with notes of patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla—perfect for those who enjoy sensual scents (Tauruses, perhaps?). It’s like a hug in a bottle, but from someone with exquisite taste, you’ll never forget.
Notes: Patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla
What We Love: Strong staying power, lasts all day
What We Don’t: Not a spring/summer fragrance per se
The name may sound sugary sweet, but the scent is quite elevated with notes of warm benzoin resin, caramel accord, and white musk. It’s a true gourmand, so if exuding candy apple vibes is your thing, I definitely recommend this. While the hot pink bottle is a treasure, the brand offers multiple sizes to choose from, including a travel spray.
Notes: Warm benzoin resin, caramel accord, white musk
What We Love: Very sweet scent
What We Don’t: May be too gourmand for some
Everyone needs a classic vanilla fragrance in their routine, but this isn’t your basic vanilla. It’s elevated with notes of crisp neroli, zesty bergamot, and earthy angelica seed to ground it. It’s the girl next door of scents—in the best way—perfect for everyday wear and any occasion.
Notes: Neroli, bergamot, vanilla infusion, angelica seed
What We Love: A fun twist on the classic vanilla fragrance
What We Don’t: Not as strong as some of the others on this list
