How to Master The Olsens Look
Yes.
Let's be honest: We've all been yearning for that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen je ne sais quoi since the duo's Two of a Kind days (possibly even earlier), proving that they've been style icons well before they hit the fashion world with their multiple collections. (I mean, who doesn't want to rock Elizabeth & James all day, every day?) Their effortless boho chic beauty look can be mastered with minimal effort (and without breaking the bank). So even if you can't port The Row, we've got you covered!
First, let's talk mastering the Olsens hair. Follow these six easy steps for beach wave perfection.
Step 1: Wash and loosely blow-dry hair while periodically scrunching.
Step 2: When your hair is almost fully dry, spray a salt spray throughout (Personally, I love Oribe's Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray, $39).
Step 3: Center part hair and tie hair back into a loose low bun using U-Pins, and only U-Pins (no need for restricting hair elastics!).
Step 4: Work your Olsen makeup magic while your hair fully dries (more details on how to pull it off below).
Step 5: Take out the low bun, and spray dry shampoo at the roots. *This step will give texture and volume to the hair.

Step 6: If need be, use a 1-inch wand curling iron and curl large pieces framing the face.
Now, onto the the duo's "we just woke up like this" dewey and contoured beauty look:
Step 1: Prime the face with an illuminating primer (like Dior's Glow Maximizer Light Boosting Primer, $42).
Step 2: Apply a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer (a must-have staple is Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer, $43).
Step 3: Line the lower lash line by "tightlining", then smudging it a little to get an undone effect.
Step 4: Curl and apply two coats of your favorite black mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.
Step 5: Finalize the look with your favorite over-sized sunnies (because we all know you own a pair).
