Hayley Kiyoko Reveals Her Routine For Glowing Goddess Skin
The singer talks cystic acne, self-love, and her new fragrance in Masked and Answered.

Singer and all-round icon Hayley Kiyoko is giving her fans what they want: A fragrance! Hue by Hayley launched in March, giving everyone the chance to smell as alluring and beautiful as Kiyoko. Her vulnerability on social media regularly inspires her 1.8 million followers and allows them to connect to her music in an even greater way. In the latest episode of Marie Claire's "Masked and Answered," the 29-year-old star walked us through her favorite products and shared her secrets to self-love…and smelling good.

For that glowing-from-within look, Kiyoko reaches for the Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask. "I really love this mask. Honestly the texture of this immediately makes me feel like I’m at the Four Seasons or an expensive spa." Also from Tatcha, Kiyoko uses the Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener to elevate her face creams. For moisturizer, Kiyoko's favorite is the Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturizer. "I’m definitely a skincare person," Kiyoko says. "Only because I have sensitive, dry skin. I’ve had to, out of necessity, definitely prioritize skincare."
Like so many of her fans, Kiyoko has struggled with acne. Her mantra for dealing with it? "Do not touch it, Hayley. Do not pick at it, Hayley." To cleanse her face at night, Kiyoko uses the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser. Kiyoko has also gone through some ups and downs with her hair. With continuous bleaching, her must-haves for healthy hair are the SACHAJUAN Moisturizing Shampoo, and the Virtue Healing Oil.

With the increased stress of the past year, Kiyoko uses the Dr. Teal's Epson Salt with Eucalyptus in her bath to help relax. Her new fragrance, Hue, also helps. "I have not left the house, but putting on perfume and smelling good and feeling good just makes me feel mentally better." For days when Kiyoko isn't feeling her best, positive sticky-notes around her home help her remember some important lessons: "Beauty is within. Beauty is belief and confidence in yourself. It takes time and it takes practice." We love self-love!
