Switch Your Hairstyle in 5 Minutes or Less (PHOTOS)
We're busy ladies, and usually we only have a few minutes to spare between the office and a night out. Thankfully, hairstylist extraordinaire, Mario Russo, gave us the low-down on these easy-to-transition hairstyles.

Day: Braided Side part
This side parted, braided crown is sweet, sassy, and frames your face oh so well.
Step 1. Begin with freshly blow-dried hair. For some added volume and texture, style hair with a round bristle brush and polish the look with a thickening finishing spray.
Step 2. Create a deep side part and separate a one-inch section of hair from the part. This section of hair should be pulled from the area closest to the hairline.
Step 3. Braid the one-inch section of hair. You may choose a traditional three-strand braid or a fishtail braid.
Step 4. Once you've created the braid, secure it behind the ear using bobby pins.
Step 5. To add texture, curl face-framing layers with a one-inch curling iron. Run your fingers through the curls for an effortless vibe that's perfect for daytime. Spray a light hold hairspray to finish.

Night: Braid Leading into Bun
This look can be created by bringing the original braid back into a loose, messy bun for an added romantic element.
Step 1. Begin by spritzing the roots of the hair with a texturizing spray.
Step 2. Brush hair back so the entire braid is exposed and gently tease the roots with a fine-toothed comb.
Step 3.Gather hair into a low ponytail, about an inch above the nape of the neck and secure the ponytail with an elastic. Spritz the ponytail with a texturizing spray and backcomb the length of the ponytail.
Step 4. To finish, coil the ponytail into a bun and secure the hair with several bobby pins.
Day: Headband with Loose Waves
Headbands are one of the most versatile hair accessories that can easily be casual-cool for day and ultra glam for a night out.
Step 1. Begin by prepping dry hair with a styling spray to add texture and protect hair from the heat styling tools.
Step 2. Comb hair into a middle part and separate the hair into four sections.
Step 3. Curl each section with a one-inch curling wand and spritz hair with a medium-hold hairspray.
Step 4. For a more relaxed look, soften the curls by running your fingers through your hair.
Step 5. Finish the look with an embellished headband.
Night: Volumized Chignon with Headband
Talk about TOTALLY glam. Rock this to cocktail party and you'll be the hair envy of the room.
Step 1. Begin this style by changing your middle part into a deep side part and place the headband at the crown.
Step 2. Brush through the curls you've created for a softer, old Hollywood texture.
Step 3. Spritz the crown with a volumizing spray and gently backcomb the roots.
Step 4. Gather the hair to one side and create a ponytail at the base of the neck and secure with a clear elastic.
Step 5. Create a loose, messy bun with the length of the ponytail and secure with bobby pins.
Look 3:
Day: Pin Straight Center Part
Sport this sleek and straight style for a day-date or to the office.
Step 1. Begin with wet hair and apply serum to fight frizz.
Step 2. Blow dry hair until it is completely dry and use a fine tooth comb to create a straight center part.
Step 3. Apply a heat protectant like straighten hair using a flat iron.
Step 4. If necessary, finish the look by adding a dime-sized amount of of serum o the length of the hair for added shine.
Night: Sleek, Slicked Pack Pony
For an extra dose of sex-appeal, pull your hair back into a low pony.
Step 1. Begin by brushing your flat-ironed hair back and creating a tight ponytail at the crown. Secure with an elastic.
Step 2. Take a piece of hair from the length of the ponytail and wrap it around the elastic and secure the hair with a bobby pin.
Step 3. Smooth any flyaways with pomade and hairspray.
